None. Yet!
But I didn’t become an author to win awards.
I became an author to share my love – and my grandsons love – of reading to children and their families. I write so that I can bring smiles to the faces of those who read my stories and find pleasure and enjoyment (and some giggles!) from them. If I can accomplish that, there’s no better reward!
If recognition and awards should come my way, I will accept them graciously and share them with my family, friends and followers! Until then, I will keep writing because it brings me joy!
I hope that my joy of writing will bring YOU joy as you read, recite and rejoice with each book you open and each page you turn. Joy, joy, joy! Maybe I will win the JOY Award? Wouldn’t that be great!
“As I listened to Allison read Let’s Hear It For The Boys! I could envision the whimsical pictures of little boys and hear the giggles and smiles march across the pages. Hearing the rhythmic lines and alterative phrases gave me a feeling of joy! The theme and storyline had me grinning from ear to ear as I thought of my own fun-loving grandsons. I can’t wait for this one to be published and released so I can share it with them.”

“The first time I read Allison's manuscripts they brought tears to my eyes. Tears of absolute, profound joy! My children are grown, but reading Allison’s stories brought me back to their childhood days. Her words are beautifully crafted and the messages of resounding positivity come as no surprise – they are a true reflection of Allison's personality. Her stories deliver the kinds of messages that children can't get enough of. Kudos to her for sharing her uplifting passion with such a fun, character-building, and inspiring spin. I can’t wait to read these books to my granddaughter."

"Bravo to you for pulling together so many beautiful rhyming verses in Girls Aren't Just Girly. This is such an uplifting concept and I think you’ve written a great book." - Allison Chisolm, Choice Words Chisolm & Co.
